After receiving acclaim from the academic world, Foreign Languages and Cultures launched the second Humboldtian Studies Special Column in no. 3, 2021. The special column includes 7 essays contributed by some of the most well-known scholars in Humboldtian Studies.

A Humboldtian Studies Special Column has been published in Foreign Languages and Cultures, no. 3, 2019 for the first time in China. Focusing on the the research project "Travelling Humboldt - Science on the Move," the special column includes two essays by Prof. Dr. Ottmar Ette and Dr. Tobias Kraft.
